Cake-o-rama

Well world today I have eaten cake all day .. on offer were
almond macaroons
cheese brownies
date and prune cake
chocolate flapjacks
carrot cake
chocolate fudge topped vanilla cake

I have eaten it for breakfast, elevensies, lunch , mid afternoon snack and just about to go home munch . It has been a real joy and it is yet another reason I work for Virgin Atlantic, as I am sure this sort of behaviour does not go on in other world corporations. !! and to top it all off, I don't feel sick.. I feel v. proud of myself !!

Bring on the next cake eating day .. I am ready

Lost

So "Lost" premiers on UK TV tonight.. much hype surrounding it.. I have watched 15 minutes so far, and it has not really hooked my attention ..which I guess you can tell as I am blogging not watching !! maybe I must try and increase my attention span and stick with it for awhile.

Happy to see some visitors to my Blog.. although I think one is by accident on the wrong site.. but I welcome all visitors to my little place on the internet..

I feel v happy with myself, as I have just returned from swimming this evening.. which is no mean achievement after a hard day at work !! the pool was quite busy with a lot of American tourists staying at the hotel, between my lengths a couple of them asked if there was anything to do in Crawley, after I had nearly drowned from laughing so much, I told them there was nothing to do that was really comparable to what they had come from in New York, but hey then seemed to be pretty content to float about in the pool, interupting my serious swimming of lengths ( yeah right !) I gave up after about 25 lengths and bid them happy holidays.. they were exctited as they were off to Stonehenge the next day.. I did not want to sound Bah Humbug by saying that they would be seriously underwhelmed by the that site...!! so i wished them happy hols. and departed to the sauna.

Top Gear

Sunday evening already ! boy weekends whizz past at a fast rate .. feeling a bit bloated having eaten a big sunday roast lunch with all the trimmings.. and as it that was not enough, our host then brought out dessert or should I say desserts to be more accurate...all home-made .. well where do I begin. Cherry franzipan tart also creme brulee and a chocolaty, creamy crunch mix with almond and raspberries .. man I was spoilt just did not know which one to pick, so our gracious host let me try everything..yummy is the only word that adequately describes the lunching experience..!!
