updates

Well much has happened since I last blogged, - Taylor won American idol.. ( Catherine was robbed!) I completed Jury service on a case of aggrevated robbery, quite a scary case, but still I have done my civic duty for Her Majesty !!

I sit surrounded by cardboard boxes stacked up to the ceiling . As the big move is 2 days away, so I think we are ready now !
Am looking forward to a couple of days away from work, whilst we move ..work is so full on, it is no joke ..am certainly earning my new salary ! " weeks till the world cup, when I will be a football widow !.. But I gues that is about it, excpet to say I have just eaten a slice of absolutely gorgeous Key Lime pie, I felt I was back in Florida !

Jury duty rocks

I am always up for new experiences in life, and this week I took a first step into the Law courts, I am loving this Jury service experience, it is just so amazing how you can form an opinion on something, and then just one probing question from the Lawyer, elicits a response from the witness, which totally transforms your view.

I am fascinated by the whole courtroom drama, unfolding before my eyes, of course I cannot share details with anyone except my fellow Jurors, and it kills me that I cannot discuss it with the outside world .. (my husband says I am square for not divulging the details !! I am however am upholding the laws of the land !!) ..I find myself biting my lip wanting to ask a question on a point I don't understand, or to get more detail from a witness but of course I must leave all the questioning to the professional Lawyers ! but I guess my inquisitive nature never leaves me and my eternal quest to know more..

I am a football widow this evening as hubby is at the pub shouting at the TV with a few work colleagues as Arsenal play Barcelona, I do actaully have the game on in the background at home and it is kinda exciting as Sol has just scored.. It looks like it is turning out to be an good game.

America Idol

Am watching the re-run of American Idol, I really hope Catherine wins, she is the under dog as she is the last girl standing ! You go girl....
Am off on Jury service tomorrow.. a new experience for me, I am imagining an episode of Ally Mcbeal, but I have a feeling it will be far from glamourous ! But anyway.. I hope I get through Jury selections, as I feel I may take it personally if the Lawyers don't want me !!
My stepper has arrived.. I feel so outta shape, I can't even tell you how long I stepped for and was super tired, but I know I have to take it slow to build up my fitness once again.
I feel proud, I have got through a whole blog without mentioning food !

MI III

It was good.. went to see Mr Cruise in Mission Impossible III last night, I could not get over how the leading lady in this movie looks to much like Tom's current girlfriend Katie Holmes.. it was kinda spooky. It was action packed as the other MI films , so I give this film a good 8 out of 10 . Of course the movie experience was enhanced also by a bag of pick-a-mix . Yum yum.

We are still awaiting our exercise machine to arrive the lateral thigh trainer.. it was deleivered to the wrong house last week, so we are awaiting a second one to be dispatched.. Maybe this is a good thing as I get out of exercising for a little while longer, because when it arrives I can say I am gonna discipline myself to got fit...

Ridiculous

I am hacked off, for the last two days at work we have had the most gorgeous weather, bright blue skies, sun shining, warm at about 70 degrees, however today.. saturday morning we get up , it is grey, dull and I had to pull on a sweatshirt, coz it is cold.. it is not fair !

Off to see Mission Impossible III tonight, have not heard any reviews whether it is good or not.. we will see.
