Thursday evening rain

OOh I hate this time of year, as the summer disappears into the past and winter makes it's way with dark evenings and dark mornings, and lots of grey skies and lots of rain... for example I was driving on the motorway today, and had my wind screen wipers going on the fastest setting, and I still could not see anything as the rain was so torrential ! Geez it is just a depressing time of year, I am ready to emigrate to a hot place like Dubai !! but my husband seems to have different ideas !!

Was working out at Heathrow today and visited the Krispy kreme booth, my diet went on hold whilst I ate a doughnut - gorgeous is an understatement ! Will eat double amounts of lettuce tomorrow to make up for it.

Looking forward to a couple of visits to the US in Oct and Nov, firstly NY in Oct . and then Orlando for Thanksgiving, it has been an age since I went to the Thanksgiving sales in the US,
so I shall be in 7th heaven shopping till i drop for lots of bargins ..
Well y'all am off to catch some sleep, feel pooped after a 2 hour drive on the stinky M25 ..

dell is back on the blog

How rubbish am I, I have been away from blog land for a month, my original blog buddy Mr B reminded me of this fact today, and I felt ashamed that I had been neglectful, so I have now returned !.

Well what has been occuring .. I have been so deeply entrenched in work, that it is not funny, I attended a school careers fair yesterday evening to represent VS, boy it was so entertaining to watch parents and kids interacting, pushy parents wanting kids to follow a career in accountancy where the big bucks are, but seeing kids eyeing up our VS stand full of fun merchandise and just longing to come and hang with us cool people (even if I say so myself)

Have managed to book a trip to NYC for next month, I cannot believe it has been 10 months
since I visited the fabulous US of A, so am well overdue. Am looking forward to feeling that NY vibe once again, and partaking in the odd cosmopolitan or two or three !!
