Egg Nog latte

Well here is a photo of our Christams tree, with integrated lights, this is a wonderful invention that ensures that you do not have to fight with tangled up lights each year, a marvelous time saver I feel. As you can see wrapped presents are already sitting there, waiting to be distributed, I feel most chuffed that 70% of my Christmas presents have already been purchased, before the full on mad rush of December weekends in the malls of England ! I feel the decorations on the tree are a tad sparce so I shall be adding that to my shopping list !

Starbucks have been providing me with the above mentioned egg nog latte, I cannot highly recommend enough to anyone, who has not partaken of this festive christmas beverage, to go out now and try one, they are most gorgeous.

Tis our staff Christmas party on Friday night, now I have heard of two people who went to the first party last week, who have fallen in the bushes on the pathway leading up to the tent (Yes I did say tent, there is a big tent erected in a car park adjacent to my office - Classy eh !!) but anyway I shall be ensuring I do not partake in too many beverages of the alcoholic variety to prevent me from falling l in above mentioned bushes.. Krispy kreme doughnuts are catering at this event, I feel I shall be in seventh heaven !

Christmas Tree

Well Christmas has come to our little home in West Sussex, we braved the crowds at the shops and bought our first ever Christmas tree since we got married , I had a feeling like a little mini tradition was starting in our household, so the lights are twinkling and the presents are stacking up under the tree, I quite love this special time of year.
Our trip to USA was a huge mega travelling experience. It took 9.5 hours to fly on our little Virgin plane to Orlando, much much longer then normal. We had a massive Thanksgiving spread, and finished it off with the most enormous carrot cake I have ever seen (Thanks O, it was v. nice) we then got on the road to Atlanta - 8 hours later we arrived, missed all the sales on black Friday, but got to see the latest addition to the family, so it certainly was worth the trip, we stayed 24 hours in Atlanta and then turned the people carrier around and drove another 8 hours back to Orlando .. I am still super pooped a week later, I think we overdid it !!! I guess I am not as young as I used to be and maybe less resillient !! The next trip will certainly involve sitting on a beach for prolonged periods of time ...
