New stuff

Goodness, this moving business is v v expensive, and to top it all off a lot of our household appliances seem to be breaking down at the same time, today we had the new fridge freezer delivered, because our last fridge decided to stop functioning, and although it was expensive, I am loving the new fridge (I know I am sad and need to get out more !.) Then our vacuum cleaner packed up last week, so had to go buy a new one yesterday, then our phone stopped functioning, so went a bought a new set a couple of weeks ago, so I guess in some ways it is quite nice having all these new things for the new home ! but the bank balance sure is taking a bashing!

Work is super crazy at the moment, I think even if I worked 12 hour days everyday, I still would not get through my "to do" list, now don't get me wrong I love the job, but the home, work life balance is a little off balance at the moment ! I cannot even find a window to go off on holiday , I cannot believe it is almost July and we have not been on a holiday yet, I am seriously suffering here !.. I work for an airline for goodness sake and should be jetting off all the time .. to places like this picture, but hey I guess ascending the promotional ladder does have it's down points.. in as much as you can't go on lots of holidays !!

New house

We made it, we now reside in our newly aquired home, and we are loving it. Let me tell you
the move was not without an enormous amount of stress, I tell you in the UK, customer service is almost non existent at times, when our Solicitors, estate agent and removal company all messed up on our move day, it almost sent my stress levels over the limit ! But hey I guess no gain with no pain ... So here we are.. YIPPEE.

I am a football widow, husband has full on world cup football fever, no matter what obscure teams are playing, he has to watch, I have taken a few sneaky peaks at the football action and as yet I have not seen any amazing action, maybe the players are all saving themselves till later on till the tournament to showcase their best moves !
